Indie Market Place - Stall Pricing

Indie Market Place Stall Prices is largely dependent on the cost of hiring the various venues and the advertising needed to market the venue for a successful day. When we can secure lower cost venues we will generally pass that on in lower costs. Please be aware that these prices can change with out much notice due to factors outside of our control such as a venue holder charging us increased fees and charges.

Generally we offer the following stalls:

Regular Size Stall (2.5m x 1m wide approx)
Large Size Stall (4.0m x 1m wide approx)
Outdoor Stalls (3.0m x 3.0m wide approx). Note outdoor stalls can be limited in some venues!

Where Marquees are erected, for outdoor spaces, it is a requirement that these are properly weighted down. If Marquees are not properly secured or weighted down, the Marquee will need to be dismantled and the stall cancelled should this occur, stall fees will NOT be refunded. Camping Stores like Ray's Outdoors sells appropriate, economical and lightweight products to keep that Marquee on the ground. Indie Market Place does not provide Marquees. It is the responsibility of the Stallholder to provide their own Marquee or other arrangements for outdoor spaces, bearing in mind weather conditions may be unpredictable.

Indie Market Place does not provide a hire table service. We have a limited stock of tables personally, and some venues provide some tables automatically. If unsure, please avoid disappointment and contact us so we can advise if you need to bring your own table.

Indie Market Place recommends the Lifetime 6Ft Bi-Fold Table (OWBFLD6FGY) sold at Officeworks. It is the correct dimensions for a regular stall, weighs less than 15kg and is easy to load and unload in a vehicle.

We also offer concession rates for food items which are perishable, prepared on the day and snack items. Contact us directly to discuss if you believe this is your category. It will be up to all stallholders providing food to seek the appropriate clearances from the local council.

There has been a general increase in Stall Prices effective 1 October 2014 in our Belgrave South Community Market, due largely to the increased costs of venue hire, administration etc. Note, this has been the first increase since the start of our Belgrave South Community Market since October 2013. Any stall holder booked for a market event falling after 1 October 2014 will incur the increased charges, but will be allowed to withdraw without penalty if they consider the increased charges unsatisfactory.
